the sun gets cold in the evenings but a touch of summer comes in on a dry whistling wind from the south, rustling through the feather-topped pines as it goes. we left footprints in rust colored dirt filling the lines in our shoe-souls. we stained our knees and elbows in the stuff. the orange earth lapped at our toes like tongues of fire burning in these dreamy lands.
we sought the golden tones in every shadow while the sun kissed our noses and eyelashes. there was a dusting of magic yawing in between the blades of grass, last year's pine cones, and the fallen, evergreen needles
the lost feeling was the treasure we found in the precious moments of a rose-painted landscape. tattoo hands and arms and handmade flower crowns
loving glances and hearts eyes forever for my favorite favorite favorite couple. GOSH. these are the kind of people you want to be your best friends. this is what love looks like
all the love goes out to my lil' bad-to-the-bone tattooed couple
