this is one of those places. one of those jaw dropping, fall out of your chair, mouth watering kind of monumental wonders that must be witnessed with your own two eyeballs. a place filled to the brim with magic, a place too fantastic to be described.
a place where a seriously creative guy asked the most precious, precious redhead to be his wife.
GAH. my heart melted. i was a puddle of happiness. i was nothing compared to the beauty of their engagement.
lauren nicole is one heck of a gal, and surprisingly, we met as photographers often do, to do a stylized bridal session. she has this amazing laughter and a smile to kill for, not to mention that red hair. she is a sweet, sweet soul. so to be a part of this big day, gosh it meant the world to me.
sloan, let me just tell y'all a little about why i was so impressed and totally floored to be a part of his proposal. first of all, we drove all the way to new mexico as if we were just doing a couple shoot (tricked ya, didn't we LL?) second, he has one of the kindest, most gentle hearts, and i could see real love between these two. not that average level small talk kind of stuff, but the real good stuff. real good. y'all are near and dear to my hearts lauren nicole and mister sloan, thank you. for all of it.
you've done it again.
part one awaits. oh, and it's a doozy.
and because their big day was so dang grandiose, they get a two parter blog post. yep. from sand dunes to mountain scapes, we rocked new mexico's socks off y'all. keep your eyeballs peeled for that post soon to arrive on your nearest internet device.
